The Immigrant

In 1921 New York, a newly arrived immigrant is separated from her sick sister at Ellis Island and left scrambling to survive. A seemingly helpful showman draws her into burlesque and vaudeville, while a charismatic magician offers a chance at escape and reunion—if she can navigate the city’s harsh bargains.
