Over the course of a tense 24 hours in late-1980s Romania, two college roommates scramble to arrange an illegal abortion. As they navigate hostile bureaucracy, scarce money, and growing fear of getting caught, their friendship is pushed to its limits by the risks and moral pressure surrounding every choice.
